it's been one of those weeks (thus far)...
i have a cold... i'm not getting nearly as much sleep as i need... the nights are getting much cooler... and i've been forced to slow down...
but, i'm so glad...
i've been enjoying being home with the fella... scheming up knitting projects for the winter... feeling positive that obama will be my new president... drinking lots and lots of tea... having some really lovely and wonderful conversations with my students' parents... and, i've just so thoroughly enjoyed my students this week.
(they are so incredible... sharing information about mythological creatures and the paleozoic age... making small and meaningful breakthroughs in reading... loving the bead chains and moveable alphabet... discussing politics and god and why there are wars...)
so... despite feeling rather icky and it feeling like a terribly long week... it's been oh so good so far... as i hope it continues to be...
i made these for the twist fair... and they were a big hit! and so... of course... there are some eames chair patches available to you in the shop...

i've had a cold all week, too. must be the change in temperature. plus, everyone is back in school. more germs to go around.... :(
i seem to be fighting the idea of fall coming more this year than ever...but the idea of milk and honey teas and cute hankies does cushion the blow...so to speak.
